Wow. Yeah. I’ve heard that sometimes with cancer, feeding tubes can cause problems if the person is not eating because their body needs to be shutting down. But other times they can be exactly what the person needs. Thank you for the thoughts about my father, I am worried about both him and my mother right now. She is working too hard taking care of him and it’s making her myasthenia gravis flare up to dangerous levels. I’m glad the feeding tube was helpful to your friend.

Thank you for writing about feeding tubes, I learnt how amazing they are when a friend of mine had terminal cancer. Unfortunately it took a long time until she was offered one, which meant she went hungry and lost too much weight, but I’m glad she didn’t have to die hungry.
