Also, would you be okay with me printing this off to add to my hardcopy zine collection?

Your comic really touched me. I can only relate to the isolation a little bit because of another illness. And at that time I was still able to communicate to other people. It must be so difficult and confusing to feel out of touch with people and even yourself during a delirium. I’m sorry you had to go through that. Afterwards when I felt better I also experienced life in “Technicolor” again.

I hope you’ll keep on blogging, you can express yourself so well!

Yet we humans are capable of all sorts of journeys. When I was seven I had Bulbar Polio and a raging fever for days. Delirium is a side effect of Bulbar, and very unpleasant. Anyway, there are clinicians out there who understand and can help, although they may be difficult to find.

Wow. I’m just glad that it could reach anyone who’d had this experience or anything like it.

It’s discounted. I was discounted, ignored, neglected during the worst part of the delirium. I became a non-person whose words and actions no longer mattered. My experience is still being discounted and ignored. It is terrifying and life-changing. It needs to be talked about.
