Ivan, the next carnival is May 10 at my place, The Gimp Parade, and while my theme is going to be “Firsts” I’ll certainly take anything off that topic and still related to the carnival’s general purposes.

BTW, Amanda, since Monday I’ve gotten a half dozen submissions forwarded to me through the carnival site or Penny. I’ll keep them unless they were also sent to you and I see them in your carnival. Or if someone specifically requests theirs gets squeezed into yours or something.

Hi – I am trying to submit something Steve wrote on the Planet of the Blind. I apologize for the late submission but we’ve been traveling and unfortunately we’re behind on our blogging. We did catch you on CNN the other morning, however. I was in SC in a hotel room and happened to turn on the TV just in time. I was delighted to stumble on your “story” just in the nick of time to call Steve and tell him to watch. Bravo!

What is your email? My 14 year old daughter is doing a report on autism and needs to make a presentation. She would love to ask you some questions. She also would like to share your video clips, but I’m not sure she’ll be able to cut and paste YouTube video. You are a hero to her (me, too); you have changed our lives and opened our eyes. Also if you (or anyone else) links to something in a comment from the actual Carnival post, I’ll try to stick it in the Carnival later. I’ve been prevented by all kinds of things from submitting stuff to a lot of the Carnivals on time, so definitely want to give others some leeway.

Ugh, looks like I am not going to make it this time…which really really sucks since I liked the “prompt” for this carnival so much. Things just got way too busy and it got late. Oh well. I look forward to reading other people’s entries at least.
