Atmospheric physics is probably closely related to meteorology…….

I know pretty much nothing about meterology, but my Dad is a specialist in atmospheric physics. He got his BA at John Hopkins University (in Baltimore, MD) then went on for his graduate training at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Don’t know if either of those programs would suit your needs.

(Pardon the expression; I don’t usually like to use the term “geek”.) We have a lot of interesting weather in this area; I’m in Albany (NY). There’s also a well-known meteorology program at the state university here; are you aware of it?

I went to school in Southern VT for a bit……..it’s a lovely state! good skiing too…….

Snow is beautiful to look at in pictures. I don’t like living in it, though. I have fallen down the stairs too many times.

Thanks for all the thought-provoking posts throughout the year, and the videos, and the photos. I’m looking forward to many more. Happy New Year.

At least I know you would not be disturbed by my lack of eye contact. :)

And yes, the Echo Center is where I went. That whole area was really interesting to walk around in…old buildings and uneven terrain and a gnome statue in the grass. I liked how the downtown area there had no cars allowed in it; that definitely made me feel safer since I don’t have the best sense of where cars are or how fast they are moving when walking around.

You probably went to the Echo Center, which is within walking distance (for people who, unlike me, have normal stamina) of where I live.
