I’ve just found out that $200 of my money has been spent in ways I didn’t authorize. There’s something wrong with my cat, she’s got a large bald patch and twitches violently whenever I touch anywhere near it. My dog has peed all over the apartment after I started crying about that. I haven’t slept all night. If I don’t post today, that’s why.

I hope you can get everything resolved, you get your money back, and that your poor kitty is OK. I’d lend you one of mine (both service cats in their own right, seizure detectors & one is a lovey dovey thing too) but she won’t upload, and I need her..
Grrr and more at whoever misspent your money (hopefully you have recourse; I am not sure what I’d do/be able to do in that situation – no doubt my mother would tell me to stop being uncooperative, because that’s how she’s always been – so I hope there are things you can do. It’s a funny sort of, not learned helplessness, exactly, but learned compliance, maybe? – that I’m growing out of and that I see other people going through. It’s tough). Hopefully they’ll face consequences for it. I’m as sick and tired of people handling and mishandling our money as the next person, and while things are changing, it’s still… not good that people continue to think they can do things like that.
I hope your cat is all right. Is there a vet nearby that you trust, hopefully? If not, can you find one? I know how much she means to you and that you’re very close and that she helps you out. Here’s hoping it’s nothing serious and that she recovers soon. Please keep us posted and let us know how she’s doing.
And I hope your dog stops peeing. :( That never helps. If you need the suggestion, Nature’s Remedy (or is it Miracle?) works very well, and if nothing else, vinegar helps.
