She trained me to believe it was a criminal offence to love anyone so now I can’t have a relationship, or even hug anyone that I really love and am facing a future alone.

Pathologization (in general) is ignorance at best. At worst, it’s a cruel but very efficient form of control — more efficient than government and religion.

A lot of change has happened in the world, and a lot remains to be made.
